My mess feedback app had 900 students rate a meal on day one. By day four it was forty.

What brought it back was not a feature. It was the weekly digest showing what actually changed because people rated things — the committee dropped one dish and added another, and I put that in the email.

Usage went back up and stayed. People will give you thirty seconds if they can see where it went.
